Greg Damiani, a hay producer based in Gawler River, grows lucerne, teff and cereal hay, specialising in premium hay for the equine market. Quality, consistency and speed are critical, particularly when producing high-value hay that needs to be stacked and stored quickly to protect it from weather damage.
The impact of introducing the Jadan Accumulator was immediate and long-lasting. Installation was straightforward, and over more than 10 years of operation, the machine has continued to perform reliably with no need for ongoing support.
โWe were hand stacking before purchasing the Jadan 15-bale accumulator, so letโs just say itโs our favourite machine,โย Greg says.
Since the upgrade, Greg has been able to grow four times more lucerne, while still getting hay stacked and into the shed quickly to avoid weather events.
โIt still works like the day we bought it. We were hoping it would meet our expectations but itโs exceeded them.โ
The reliability and performance of the machine have also had a wider impact, with several neighbouring producers following suit.
โOurs was the first Jadan accumulator in the area, and since then four neighbours have also bought Jadan accumulators and grabs.โ
For Greg, the Jadan difference comes down to long-term reliability and smart, practical design. More than a decade on, the Small Bale Accumulator & Grab continues to deliver the same performance it did on day one, handling tens of thousands of bales with ease.
Built in Australia and proven in local conditions, Jadan equipment has helped Greg scale production, reduced labour and protected premium hay when timing matters most. Itโs dependable performance that speaks for itself and for the growing number of Jadan machines now working across the region.
